I have been known to throw shade at Razer in the past, especially in regards to how the price tag on their stuff does not reflect the quality of the product, but the new switch has me interested.

Has anyone seen this switch before?

According to reviews the switches have a very unpleasant squeaking sound.
Beware that there are many shills out there that don't mention it.

Edit: The switches are supposedly a variation of Bloody/A4Tech's Light Strike switches.

The DESIGN of the switch, being the bent metal bar that runs along the plastic siding of the switch.

THAT would need lubing for sure hence the current squeaking, why didn't anyone mention this?

When I first saw the switch itself and every switch having that exact design of a metal bar running around it, giving it stability (who knows).

Silly design as most current Cherry-like designs have no such design and work quietly and efficiently.

Maybe eventually someone will give it an honest review. Every switch being stabilized has advantages and disadvantages, but I do question WHY they chose to stabilize this way if it only results in squeaky switches xD Potentially, it would result in more stable switches.

Now compare that to Bloody's Libra (Light Strike) optical switches. The design looks quite similar.

Also, according to the review, the stabilizers do not have much effect on key wobble.
