Recently added another curiosity to my a collection, a Model F XT designed for use with the Tempest Personal Computer (TPC). This keyboard is similar to other XT keyboards such as the EMR, EMR II, and the TPC II variants which were built to Tempest standards for use with EMR (Electro-magnetic Radiation) PC's used by government, industry and the military. As you can see this keyboard has a shielded cable, special connector, and a sealed controller with a special coating to help absorb and dissipate EMR emissions.

Seems like just a Model F with more epoxy. That, and that georgous cable and connector. Can't forget that.

I have one of these as well and is has the same messy look to the RF absorbing/blocking material. A while back I also found an interesting PC version of this keyboard which seems to have more refined application of the goop which looks molded.

Refined goop

That one is really neat plus can be plugged into a standard PC. I would love to see an actual EMR PC. I'm sure that would be even more interesting to see.
