Remapping Japanese extra keys under Linux with xkb?

Hi *,

I just received a Japanese Filco Majestouch 2 TKL with Cherry Blues, hooked it up, and it's just great. How can I remap the extra keys this provides? There is an extra key to the left of the Backspace key, one to the left of the right Shift key, one to the left of Space and two to the right. Does anyone know what scan codes they represent? I am going to try to remap them to Alt, Super, Shift, and Ctrl.

By the way, does anyone know how the keys are produced? Are they double shot? If so, with what material? The labels have a really defined texture to them and it seems that if they stay the same over time, with time it'll be easy to tell where my fingers are just based on the feel alone. I just wonder if that's plastic that'll stay this way for the next several years, or if it's paint which will rub off relatively soon.

Thanks
