Well, hello. I got a typewriter with Alps SKFF switches and they are stuck AF. I even cut the PCB to make it easier and avoid any pin damage, but no use. Any ideas? Could be the clips?

you need to have another go at desoldering first there is still solder on the pins of the other switches that will be holding the switch to the pcb. Only after each switch has no solder so the pcb can be removed entirely then you would be able to get to the clips to push them in so the entire switch can then be pushed towards and through the plate.

Try with desoldering braid cable.

Proba con "malla desoldadora".

Done, it was that single switch. I tried with 4 more and they came out very easy.

What do you plan to do with these?

I will replace the Futaba switches of my Televideo TS 803H with these things (they have compatible pins and mount). They feel like a dampened beamspring with a heavier spring, very interesting switches.
