Hi,everyone.I'd found one of my favorite customized model M.
Not really perfect as the label was broken.

Nice keyboard! I remember the lore and the competitive hatred that Wang Industries had for IBM.. especially in this 1985 Super Bowl commercial.

The Wang founder (Dr. An Wang) died in 1990 and then someone in Wang corporate in 1991 decided to use adopt the model M keyboard frame, but add their own Wang logo...

Very nice! I can't imagine seeing a Superbowl commercial like that today. It's also neat the date of this keyboard so close to their ultimate demise.

@clickykeyboards: Good to hear from you! Thanks for your insights into Wang keyboard history. I still have the Model M boards that I bought from you years ago. You are partly responsible for the transformation of my house into a keyboard workshop and museum! It's okay -- I enjoy it.

fantastic! a model M that says "wang" on it. Im not sure why this is so funny to me but i just giggled out loud in a lecture class like an idiot.
