My experience - I have one NIB.

I've been using a filco tkl with blues as my daily driver for almost a year, always with cherry keycaps. The construction is solid. Until today the body still looks like new, regardless of the heavy use. I even happened to spill some water on the arrows and everything kept working as if nothing had happened. I only regret the lack of a detachable cable or a wireless/bluetooth version. Stock keycaps are bad, but what's the fun in keeping them anyway?

As long as you don't get one filled with cobras like I did you should be ok.
