How to obtain an "ergo clears" board?

The Oracle has recommended I try an "ergo clears" board, and at the moment I'm unclear of the best way to go about that. The options seem to be finding a board with clears and switching the springs; or finding a generic Cherry-type board with whatever switches, and replace them all. The first requires maybe hard work finding a board with those switches, possibly spending more on it, and then having to buy a load of brown switches for the springs - the second method might mean a cheaper board in the first place, but could be easier to do as from what I gather the clear switches are easy enough to find as components.
Am I on the right lines here? Any advice? I do notice these switches seem to be available in two formats, one with mounting pins and one without - presumably a switch without mounting pins would be unstable if PCB-mounted?
