Hi.
I recently bought a keyboard, and I don't have any information about it.
On the PCB it says : DATACOMP Electronics Co Ltd.
And JMC-5151C
It appears to have MX Vintage Blacks
Thank you for any info about it
How much could it possibly be worth?

Cool find. I'd be pleased to own this. Look at that MAAAAAASive erection of a space bar. Is it longer than the sb on the WY-50? Are the key caps double shots? Look like pretty good build quality too, especially for a "cherry" board. What are your plans with it?

I dont know what to do it.
Maybe converting, maybe selling
Also the caps are doubleshots, 1.1mm thick.

If I remember correctly, this is a Chicony 5151, as the sticker kind of suggests. It's probably worth as much as the switches are worth in it.

edit, I mean datacomp 5151 oops

I am wanting to convert it to USB, but I don't know if Im able to.
It came to me in mint condition, I only cleaned the caps with soapy water because there was some oil on them.

Is it a 5 din connector? Do you have a converter?

It Is a 5pin din, but what about the AT/XT protocols?
I can do the DIN>PS/2 and then active converter to USB

If I were you I would sell the switches for way more than they are worth on Reddit and then swap in some Kailh BOX or something. A chassis like that would probably make them sound great and some Redditard will gladly pay $1.50/switch, so win-win

They are plate mount, sadly, but I like them very much anyways.
