I'm not gonna do a full write up on this but I finally completed the USB conversion of my Heathkit morse code generator. I'd done a pass at this years ago, then got too ambitious with the project and it sat fallow. I decided to just remap the matrix, hook it up to a pro micro, and call it good. Here are some shots:

It's got SKCC tall cream switches, so it feels just like my chinese pingmaster to type on, but the layout is a lot smaller. Good sound, but there's naturally a lot of ringing.
