Hey all,
I recently saved a Kaypro II with a faulty MB. I took the case to swap out my good unit but now I have a spare keyboard. Is there a way to convert this to USB?

What switches does it use? Just curious.
Might have to map the matrix. Got a pic of the connector?

I'm not sure, but it sure looks neat. It's an RJ11

Can you take a picture of the PCB? Would help if you could at least highlight were the traces from the connector go.

I have a Kaypro II that used vintage (tall stem) Keytonic F&F. Used xwhatsit to convert.

I probably have the IC pinouts for the rows/columns somewhere - if yours is also Keytronic F&F and if that would be helpful.
Also have a Kaypro IV with SMK J-M0404 switches that i converted with a Teensy.

I do have the matrix I came up with for the Kaypro IV (SMK J-M0404 switches):
