How do they feel, that is what it all comes down to right. They either feel good or they don't.

Ah Wyze.. which model keyboard is it from?

those metal "pin" are just from the diode. The best way, as always, is to find time stamp on the keyboard, ideally the pcb

I will try to find the date, but I did not see it on the printed circuit board.

Wyse has some paper stamp with date on them, often on the top of the pcb. Also stamp on case.

Stuff printed on the PCB silk screen is _NEVER_ a reliable source for dating switches. That's commonly the year the PCB was designed and predates the switches. Could be this PCB is still being used in the late 1990s ...

A much better indicator are the mold marks in the keyboard cases. These molds often have clock-like markings in them that indicate a year and a month for example.
