How do you wire an LED to a soarers converter using a Pro Micro?

I've wanted to add a lock light for caps lock to my terminal M, I'm just not sure if my parts are compatible. I'm going to use this green LED (https://www.jaycar.com.au/green-3mm-led ... d/p/ZD0120) and a 1K Ohm resistor since that's what soarers documentation says I should start with.
