Obscure question - can you transplant PCB from Acer 6011 slim K case to 6312 K KB101A tall case?

Bit of a long shot, but has anyone done this (transplant an Acer 6011 PCB from slim K case to the tall K case (that's like the G case of the KB101A)?

In case anyone ever has the same question, I went ahead and got a 6312-K NIB and the swap works! The PCB form factor between the 6011 and 6312 in the K case style is identical, and fits the mounting guides on the side perfectly. Now, the XT/AT switch on the back of the 6011 PCB does not have its natural hole in the 6312 case, but the case is so deep (cause they had to make room for the PS2 connector's PCB which is on the back of the 6312 PCB and is about the same depth as the 6011 switch), that the switch does not interfere with setting the 6011 PCB in the correct position, aligned with the mounting guides. You'd have to drill/cut through quite thick plastic to make a hole if you wished to do so.

The tall G/K case looks quite handsome and more imposing, but the slim K case is a lot more compact and quite cute, IMO.
Regarding any sound differences, there's more empty space in the G/K case but I'm not detecting any big difference in sound, using Oranges, at least.

Lastly, this 6312-K comes with interesting caps that I think are ABS cause they are thin (then again, they sunk in a bowl of water) but have a more chalky texture than those on the 6011. The caps on my 6011 are dye-sub PBT and feel less chalky but still have some texture, similar to those of the M0116 and M3501. The 6011 caps also have a deeper dish shape on the top. Anyway, they make a good spare set of alphas and would be a nice source of Alps caps for anyone looking (noting that the stabilized keys can't be used from 63xx boards).
