I guess a lot of you have been collecting keyboards for quite a while now and I was wondering: What are the weirdest or most special places where you found a rather rare vintage keyboard or what were the weirdest seller interactions you had

?
Im especially wondering where most people found their beamsprings or if most of them just bought one.
Really looking forward to your stories

Well, I found a 1987 Model M in pretty good condition
in the street a couple of weeks ago!

Does it count when you find one in your own possession that you simply forgot you had? It happens to all of us. Give it time!
Also applies to unexpected packages. Your past self is a mysterious being at times.
Weird or special? No. Not in a good way at least! But it can be immensely surprising when it happens!

Well I guess that still counts
And the IBM Model M find is crazy I'm still hoping to make that sort of discovery with beamsprings one day.

I mean fair enough, chances of that happening aren't really in my favour
