Best Ergonomic Keyboard?

Alright, so, with Father's day coming up I've been wondering... my dad is big on the Microsoft Ergo keyboard, has been using them for quite possibly almost two decades now! What would you recommend, mostly for ergonomic benefit, as an upgrade to the Microsoft ergo keyboard. One thing I need to clarify: This is for my dad, he's not a nutjob like myself and everyone else on this forum and WILL not care about the switches!

Well, which Microsoft ergo keyboard does he use?
My favourite (non-mech) ergo split board was the Microsoft natural ergonomic desktop 7000 (the wireless version of the ergonomic desktop 4000 board)
The only thing I hated about it was the horrible sounding spacebar.

If I didn't care about it being mechanical, and I wanted the best modern split ergo board possible I'd honestly just pick up a Logitech Ergo K860. The sculpting of the keys is pretty nice for a chiclet style board, the wrist rest is gorgeous, and it works across mac & windows perfectly thanks to the dual legend keycaps.

Or, if they still make them - get a goldtouch

To tell you the truth, I don't know which one he specifically uses, it's a pretty standard black membrane with a curved center for more ergonomic typing.
