You do know there's a "Photos and videos" forum, right?

Also, cheap painted-and-lasered WASD keycaps are cheap.

Not a biggie in my book to post pics here. I mean, I thought the EU had high speed internet better than the USA?

Nice socks. Next time wear COLORFUL ones!

AND I disagree with THIS too! They are actually quite impressive in person.

Maybe because the server is in Texas and Belgians have poor internet service but great french fries? I get better internet ping than Geekhack that is for sure.

Lol - Chinese Clone of Belgian French fries.

Anyhoo, I like the PBT keys but the lasering of letters is kinda dark.

As Always, Helvetica FTW!

Im gonna use the round4 caps, but I think the caps look good.. still i cant understand why the WASDkeys are made of white ABS and painted with red.. why not use red plastic instead?

Did Ducky fix this yet?

Image

Meanwhile in Singapore, Ducky owners are bickering about the spacebar being a stronger switch for some and normal for others.

Ok, the quality of the printing was really bad.

After about 5 hours of gaming, the wasd keys are almost completely unreadable.

What? The off-center Esc key?

They'll get around to it when Filco, Topre, and every other keyboard manufacturer figures out how to fix it.

McRip effect.

I really like this keyboard, other from the caps.. dont know what caps I should get. I've ordered the round4 RGBY retro set with swedish iso but i want black caps for the lettering, do you know where i could get some swedish/german black on white ds with helvetica?

Filco, Topre and other didn't have such an extreme offset as Ducky. The least Ducky could do it try to fit or improve on the casing(feet are bascially useless). All Ducky did is churn out more crap to flood the market like razer.

It's the problem with lasered keys. Ripster have already prove coated-printed keycaps more or less better than lasered.

My G80-3494 with lasered keycaps stained as quickly as well.

The McRip Effect is still alive in my subforum but read it soon before a Geekhack Moderator deletes it or blocks the images.

I'm thinking about getting PBT caps for my Ducky Shine but based on the pictures, the Ducky PBT caps look rather thin. :(

I wouldn't worry a whole lot about that, they're pretty resilient.

The thickness of the cap is ok, the printing is just superbad.. xD
