I vaguely remember browsing some chinese online shop and looking at a new tkl that had some sort of alps switches. Does anybody know what that may have been? And do we have more information on the switch? Is it linear or tactile, etc...

Filco zero used some simplified ALPS switches I believe. That's what you probably saw.

Your thinking of a filco zero. It came in 2 types of clicky switches the old ones used Fukka's (bad) and new ones use XM's (good but came with a crap laggy controller).

Ducky do a board with alps as well I think.

Yeah, and Ducky's ALPS board is CHEAP!! $50 cheap. Best damn deal in mechanical keyboards.

I thought it was the opposite: Old ones had XMs and new ones had Fukkas ...

I had the impresson, switch-wise, XM's being inferior to Fukkas...
