Not sure if this is the proper place to post but I'm wondering if anyone has the PBT color ring from SP. I'm trying to make a keycap and need to choose the base color. Any help would be appreciated

thanks in advance!

You seen the pictures people have taken? I know its not perfect but may be enough to help as long as your not matching specific greys..

My green pbt set is VCR - not sure if that helps, but I have a hunch you are looking for something in a green.

Do you have to do a group buy to order something custom PBT? or is it just considerably more expensive?

SP sells current inventory of PBT. You need to speak with Melissa on what is currently available. No group buy is required unless you want something custom outside of blank PBT keycaps.

Where do I check what is in stock, and how does one get in touch with Melissa?

According to the
faq, the only minimum on custom orders is $100 minium order value. But custom legends/setup/etc are expensive, so it's only feasible to most people when done as a group buy.
Instock blank caps are $1 each.

Since I missed the Wyse moogle gb, I put together a blank blue pbt moogle for my wyse set. And pieced together some wasd sets in green, pink and yellow.

Keyboardlover did an 87-key GB for Dyesub PBT, and it was pretty expensive, though there weren't too many orders. SP's PBT is really nice, and I believe it's easily worth the small cost difference.
Then there was Portal R1 then Nyancat, etc. I'm glad more people are doing SP PBT, as it's actually quite nice.

Does that $100 also apply to in stock blanks? Wondering since you only mentioned that minimum for custom caps.

Oh, cool. $1 per keycap isn't that bad! Might have to check that out.
