Favorite Keyboard Tray?

Hey all.

So I am moving into a new place and getting a new desk. It is a gallant from Ikea. Now don't make this a discussion about desks. That being said, the keyboard tray that Ikea was selling was crap: short and cheap. Now I don't mind saving on the desk, but I have decided to try to find a good keyboard tray to attach myself.

I've seen some nice 3M keyboard trays but cost nearly as much as my desk itself (yes its Ikea, yes its cheap, resist the urge to discuss that :) ) -- Like this one: http://www.amazon.com/3M-Knob-Adjust-Ke ... 01B0DCOO/2

Only preference is that I have always hated the ones that have the addon mouse attachment like this

Any ideas? Would love something 20 inches or larger, to fit a 122key and a trackball mouse if I ever get my soarer mod working.

I would recommend you make your own tray using something like that (have a look at the 3rd picture):

I hadn't thought of that actually. Hmm, not sure how easy this would be with a desk like this

But I can surely take a look at it. This is definitely the optimal solution since I am looking for something larger than the average board (not to mention they are expensive!! 3M wants one for $120... psh).

This is the purchase version I am looking at considering: http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Underd ... board+tray -- seems to be larger than most of the ones I have seen and don't have a detaching mouse pad.

Any other suggestions? I'm also considering a keyboard tray.

but it seems that the mouse pad is like the ones you don't like.

Quite expensive too :-)

So, Trent, how is the Galant? And how did you solve the tray problem? I am lurking on a Galant, too, since the feet are height adjustible and I want this comfy chair:
