Very nice pictures...looks like it was fun.
Still, this thread should be transferred to the pictures section.
Where was this meeting?

Quote flickr album: "This photo was taken yesterday in Spring Hill, Somerville, MA" (USA).
Really seems to have been fun.

*sheepish* I'd never noticed the pictures section.

Feeling jealous.
...Perhaps the other Isle of Man members ever feel like meeting up...?

You can't just do that, you know? The hat. And the carefully maintained goatee. And the glasses. And the ponytail. And the wristbands. I probably didn't spot a few. There are at least some capital offenses among these.

I agree on the hat, hats indoors are bad style, but other then that, who cares.

He just came in and had no time to put his hat off.

Whoa. Hadn't looked at this too closely before. Where is the write-up? I have never seen some of these boards!
Edit: There are some comments in the flicker set.

What kickstarter?
It is a platform where companies or people look for funds in order to be able to finance some projects. The people who help to fund the idea receive in exchange the final product and usually receive extras with it.
Kickstarter
One example is the game called
Project Eternity that Obsidian Entertainment decided to create. Since no one would give them funds to make today an old school RPG they decided to go with Kickstarter so they would be able to produce the game. I'm a backer myself.

4 million dollars raised in donations for a game ??? Unbelievable! Is that much money really needed to create a game?

by Icarium
No, depending on the game a lot more is needed.
I was talking about the kickstarter for a rubber overlay for touchscreens to allow touch typing.

Sorry, I meant "which kickstarter", not "what is kickstarter"
