I was researching examples of beam-spring keyboards and found this listing on Ebay. $275.00 shipped for two keyboards is pretty steep, but perhaps this will give someone a project board plus one for spare keycaps. :)

I saw those before. They're "$275.00 shipped" - only if you're in the US. In Canada, they're something like $340 shipped (plus customs, plus exchange).
(...why do people always say the "shipped" price, assuming everybody's in the same country? ;) )

They're definitely overpriced. If they were the larger style with the extra block of keys and rare APL keycaps, I'd go for it, but not these keyboards.

The seller also has these two and they're starting at $140 with a "buy it now" at $200, but they're also the smaller style and one is missing a key.

@ mr_a500 :

But ..
These are like.. 'Beam-spring Space-Savers'.. or something !
They have NOT had their umbilical cord cut !!
At least one of them still has something useful under that powder-coated plastic-lid !!!
At least one still has the rubber-membrane !!!!

And they are 100% beam-springs !

Last but not least :
I'd rather eat my shorts than tell you what the shipping would cost from where I live !
These things are HEAVY !
Just the KEYCAPS weigh more than your average rubber-dome 'keyboard' !

Shouldn't this be in the Marketplace forum?

We already have a pictures thread as well, so this is just clutter...

The one missing a keycap is a data entry keyboard, and probably has tripleshots
