Vintage doubleshots?

Just curious what vintage doubleshots were made out of, since in the 80s it was possible to make doubleshots with almost invincible texture, that never went shiny.

Like what, like the Tandberg? I rather suspect they made them almost-shiny from the beginning, so there isn't that big a difference when they get used.

My Olympia typewriter set definitely has some shiny keys. Spacebar has a shiny spot too.

In my case, the BBC Micro. The keys are highly textured.

Good link. The modern day monoculture of ABS everywhere wasn't always so, I think that's fair to say.
