Searching first mechanical keyboard!

Hi everybody,
I am searching my first mechanical keyboard. I am using it most of the times for gaming, games like sc2 or Dota2. I am also frequently coding stuff or writing a wall of text. About switches I would like I think blue ones, because the tactical feedback sounds nice. But the pride should be below 100 Euro and the keyboard should be available in Europe(I am from Italy).
Any suggestions ?
Thanks

That's really a question you have to ask in the keyboard oracle thread:

CM Storm quickfire of course. they say mx red are better for gaming, for everything else I prefer blue. if you are not in hurry I can sell you a Filco with blue (I'm from Italy too), ANSI layout though.

Tenkeyless or smaller would be nice. Yea, the CM Storm Quickfire seems nice, but i cant get it in europe with blue switches... Any suggestions for that problem ?

@matt3o
Which keyboard ? ^^ I am new to this topic.

do you need Italian layout?

I have a Filco tenkeyless with blue switches. It looks like this

don't think they exist with Italian layout and blue switches.

Hmm, perhaps the ansi layout isnt even a big problem. But the price plus shipment is abit to expensive for me. Do you know what the shipment costs are in Italy ?
And does nobody here in the forum know how to get a cm storm quickfire with blue switches in europe ?
Do you think brown switches could also work for me ? I am normaly not looking at my keyboard and writing pretty silent with a rubber dome.
Thanks

Exactly. My old man picked up a MacBook Pro in America while on holiday, and doesn't seem to notice the difference. He doesn't know what ISO or ANSI mean.

It's the kind of thing you care about more when you're already deep into keyboards.

Well, you're both in Italy so it's about as good as it can get. matt3o's Filco is a higher quality keyboard, and tenkeyless too. I'd go for that if you can stretch it.

Not me. CM's stuff just doesn't float my boat.

Well, what appeals to you about blue switches? The bump or the click? Browns have a tactile bump but don't click. Blues have both. Of course, both are louder than domes if you bottom out. Blues make an extra noise along the way.

the tactile bump of brown is questionable. it feels just like scratched red :) but I know there are people who love brown, so that's just my very own opinion. Unfortunately you've got to try them first hand.

Tracked shipping is 10€, maybe a little less for registered mail. Consider that a new Filco costs 140€+shipping from UK. PM me if interested. Where in Italy are you from? If we are close you could try it.

Browns are pointless, although I don't like blues for gaming.

If you're not looking at your keyboard, I'd say to stick with ISO layout, but to not care what language it actually is, so any European layout would work.

Don't like much the suggestions made here.
Get some cheapass cherry board from eBay, and start from there.
Or visit the try before you buy section to find your favourite switches.
Or buy used at least.

Is there one of these cheapass that you can recommend ? And are the switches ( the feeling) really totally the same, so there is only a diffrence in quality ?

the switches are the same. what changes is the overall build quality (and to some extent the switch feeling).
