Hmm, what switches are these? The red ones have no spring. The white ones are linear, like MX blacks but with more friction I'd say.

Before I answer your questions :
You need to post a photo with at least ONE of the key-caps 'upside-down' ! ( :) :) )

Ok, They are not dualshot or cherry mx/alps compatible so I didn't find them interesting but fine, I will post a picture of them.

Thank You !!
True, the keycaps are not MX-compatible, but that doesn't mean they are bad .
IIRC, they are dye-sub caps !

If only "keyboardporn" was up ..

We call them "ICL switches". I think the small keypad connects to a larger keyboard.

Yeah, I have the full keyboard, it's pretty standard.

The switches are actually pretty good.

Do you know about the protocol? Can you use something like an attiny without modifying the PCB?

If you are lucky, you could use a Teensy or Teensy++ in the Nokia numpad in place of the controller chip.

If anybody is interested in such a Nokia numpad without or with the complete keyboard it can be attached to,
they can have them for shipping costs.

The boards are badly yellowed, pics and some infor in this older thread:

Any idea on how much to send the board/numpad to Canada?
