I think that the "balls" could be made of plaster. Red and blue paint is used as a kind of primer for the silved top coat.
The scratched holes in the paint is for testing the paint's endurance... which is apparently not very good.

Acanthophis is abolutely right.

I took 2 ballons filled with bird sand. The ballons was sold as "metallic" color. For the filling I used bird sand.
But I filter the sand to get out some bigger sharp pieces.

The blue boobs weigh 340gr each, the silver ones 250gr.

I tried this because I like more firmer wrist rets.

Yes, I extend the internal Tipro Bus Cable and exported from one housing to the other.
So I am able to use one controller for this setup.

Did you do it properly, with stress relief? How is it it to type with such a large width?

Yes with stress relief with cable ties.

The large width feels very comfortable, more relaxed. My arms are stored on the armrests. My wrists rests on the boobs. Actually there is about 8 cm more space between the boards, as can be seen in the picture.
