Project 42 :

EDC ( Every Day Carry ) Pocket Knives and their interfaces.

Warning : once you start, it's like collecting keyboards....
I'm mainly interested in the quality of their opening mechanisms, their pocket-clips and grip. ( Out of the Form Fit Function paradigm, I will always focus on the Fit part )

Anybody recognizes any of them?

Cool idea! I'm not really a knife guy but here is my utility knife anyway. It's good for me because I am too lazy to look after the blade so I can just buy new ones

I got two of this from here.
It is rather cheap but I've been using both of them for over 2 years.

I dare you to browse this. So many cheap knives. Sure, they won't last 10 years but at $5...

Blade longer than 7cm = 5000DKR fine and/or 7 days in jail
Locking blade = 5000DKR fine and/or 7 days in jail
One-hand opening = 5000DKR fine and/or 7 days in jail

We have retarded regulations in Germany as well. BUT except for butterfly knives you're allowed to own most kinds of knives.

These are free to buy, own and use on private property:
- All cutting and thrusting weapons such as daggers, swords, or stilettos
- All folding knives that are locking and have a one-handed opening mechanism (whether automatic, assisted-opening, or manual in nature). A knife that has only one of these two features may be legal to carry (namely provided it does not violate the principles below and above).
- All knives with fixed blades over 12.0 cm.

So we can import most kinds of knives, we just can't carry them with us unless it's obviously needed for ones profession.

I actually only have a gerber pocket knife that I got for my birthday, unless you count my leatherman as well, which I don't.

I'd like to have more, but I don't really use knives for much, so I have no reason to get more. I do, however, feel like getting a new leatherman.
