Sweet board. All it needs is some skulls!

What do I know about it? I know that it makes my eyes bleed.

No wonder people grow up with no sense of aesthetics, if that's the sort of trash we're giving to children.

I'm sure my mum would like it. Colours!!11!!ONEONE!!! The sixties through to the eighties were really big on throwing the whole spectrum around at once.

But it's still beat by the Filco dinosaur keyboard. That one's got everything!

Yep, the Filco Dinosaur is aptly named. It looks like it could have been branded as a supra-Keycool-rainbow, or a Noppoo fruit-choc-max. They should go minimalist with children -- give them Happy Hacking boards!

The Filco dino came out long ago. (As exposed by proud claim of Windows 95 compatibility. Fancy!) As I understand it helped Filco get started in the whole mechanical keyboards racket. They are largely responsible for the current surge of MX based keyboards beyond Cherry, and were instrumental in the return of desktop TKL. So we may actually owe that dino something!

I think Filcos have been around for a while. While it's amusing to think the Dino board put them on the map, I think their more conservative boards were probably more popular :)

I wonder who actually designed that Dino keyboard — did Filco just pick it from Strong Man's catalogue, or did Strong Man sell it under their own name afterwards? (It was on the Strong Man website at the time Strong Man closed down.)

I had one of these. Rubber dome, legends printed/decals.
Now a member of DT has it for his child
