I have a few of these wyse terminal keyboards. Figured I would swap the keys onto
The packard bell.

Wyse keyboards are often completely incompatible with the modern world (weird terminal cables, like RJ10 on the Wyse ASCII). While typing on a dead keyboard can be fun, you soon get tired of it!

You should but the BTC keycaps onto a better keyboard instead of the other way around.

Really, the packard bell keys feel very simular to those
Cherry black switches on the wyse. I use this packard bell at work. I use a nmb at home. To me, nithing compares to the nmb space invader switch feel. I would use the wyse keyboard, but its terminal only as muirium mentioned.

I know the feeling. From this keyboard in particular:

Those switches! Those caps! Yet nothing works!

My older BTC-made Packard Bell (dome over PCB) is very tactile; they must have made the domes less tactile by the time that yours was made.

By the way, one good thing with the BTC keycaps is that you can use dental bands or O-rings to silence when bottoming down.
That is something that you can't do with Wyse/SP caps, because they don't have internal struts.

Typing on a typewriter by the noise this thing puts out. Hehhee....
