Hey everyone,
all of those people who carry their HHKB all around, may thought about a propper protection for the keyboard.
Dust, dirt and sharp objects may soil your beloved keyboard or even worse, scratch it.
So this dude over here had a nice Idea to convert a gun sock into a HHKB protection sock
Here the link to the product:

A gun sock? If I ask for something like that in the Netherlands (like in a V&D), I'll probably be violently arrested by a team of special police ninja. I really like how it fits exactly. Btw, you have a real nice voice. You might convince me to buy a set of kitchen knives.

This is not my video, I found it on YT and wanted to share it with you guys.
For my taste, this sock is better used with HHKBs than with guns. If you take a look on the amazon product pictures, you can see that the handguns covered by this sock looks verry ridiculous
5.58$ VS 50$
I would say we have a clear winner

I bet elitekeyboard would sell this sock for like 30$!
Am I the only one who thinks that EK is a pure ripoff store?

No we don't. It's just a sock. The official case is padded and you can't really compare it to cheap a $5 sock. It also has a little pocket for cables and stuff.

My plan is to order the case through Amazon Japan instead. I asked Smart Imports who said no problem.

The sock is exactely what I need, I carry this thing around in a much bigger case with all the cables for my notebook and stuff... But okay, as a single product you are might right.
@MU how much will it be via Smart Imports?

I asked them about buying it with an HHKB. They wanted pretty much just Amazon's price for it when done like that. No harm in asking.

I can't see any point in buying stuff from EK when you are in Europe if it's availabe from Japan. Google translate + Tenso works fine for me and the prices are much better.

Man that is a good idea, I was really tempted to buy a red esc key for my HHKB, maybe I can find this thing in Japan for less... lets see.

Here's 002's handy guide to using Tenso:

Starting has gotten a bit more awkward recently. I've not gone any further myself yet.
