Remember folks: all row 3 mods are now the right size, but other rows are not! (Shifts and Tab are the problem, I think.)
I'd actually like to try both, but really row 3 is the way to go for now. And flat red alphas, dammit!

I vote for rows 1 to 4 for every kit even function one. It is the only way that lets everybody enjoys different color layout even with white alphanumeric in every different language.
I know that we cannot have perfect row 4 shift, but maybe we can expect them from a future round 6...

Not many people seem to be interested in this but it seems I abandon the "all row 3"-idea ...

But the cunningness of all row three alphas for multiple language support! And the way they'd work on my Tipro. Nooooo!

I want whatever will look best - but I want the base kit and the RED/BLACK to use the same profile so I know what to order.

It is quite narrow, but 1-4 profile wins over all-row-3 profile for red and black and function keys.

It may help if we posted a picture showing the difference in this thread. I don't mind the row 3 approach. I see what you are doing now at least. Originally it seemed like the greys from the base packages were 1-4, but the red/black were row 3'd which just seemed odd.

Seems there is a tiny majority towards using rows 1-4 instead of only row 3 for the red and black stuff.
I've also pm'ed the people who actually ordered red or black stuff and there is one vote more for rows 1-4.

OK, I will change the black and red stuff. to 1-4 proifile. It is not a big margin, but at least the majority.
I will also modularize the other kits more, so people need to buy fewer keys they don't need and can mix black mods with white alnums or red alnums with grey mods, etc.
