Hello Everyone

I am pleased to announce that we will be selling keyboards from our new store in the first quarter of 2014! First product range will include 60% keyboards and who knows what else ;) all at a decent price.

That's all for now, will make the official announcement when the new shop is live!

great news, thanks for the heads up. we need more distributors in EU, especially for hard to find stuff such as HHKB and some Leopolds...

ps: please share your product line!

I can't right now, but I can say that we'll be stocking / have availability of all the major ISO layouts!

Everything we can't pick up the Keyboard Company is the news we want to hear! Lots of great keyboards are hard to come by in Europe. Even white Realforces, let alone HiPro.

I have a feeling that we are talking about poker kb here...

I've secured one decent but not widely available brand so far, with a few others lined up. Can't touch Topre I'm afraid, due to a certain company already having exclusivity, but would be good not being in competition with them!

Tex Beetle I'd wager.

Sounds a good bet, and a pretty decent keyboard we're missing out on so far.

Pity about Topre exclusivity. I only really like the white ones and Keyboardco doesn't bother selling them! And then of course there's the HHKB. Those cost a boatload to import over here, whether from EK or Japan.

EK exclusivity is limited to US (unless we are talking about another company, maybe keyboardco? don't think they have exclusivity, I contacted Leopold any they were pretty happy to sell me 200 realforce if I really wanted).

I think the reason we can't get the HHKB in Europe is that it isn't quality checked to EU standards or something...I'm pretty sure one of the Keyboard Co guys mentioned it on GH way back in the midst of time...

Ah, but were you talking to them as a distributor, Matt? I'm sure Leopold can sell to any individual they like, any exclusivity would be about a regional reseller.

If the HHKB is really banned by some European standards issue, I've found my very first actual reason to be anti EU! Wonder what could be wrong with it. Don't they have the CE mark somewhere?

ah right, maybe they miss the CE label

I think it was ROHS that was missing.

Being an old anime fan, I have to sigh at the very real possibility that PFU/Fujitsu has forgotten that Europe even exists, and they'd need to fill in some paperwork to sell to the mythical people here…

That rings a bell, I have a PFU Fujitsu office next to mine, I should go in there and ask them about it :D.
