Recently I found an interesting keyboard on an old Sony Vaio laptop....

Just curious, does anyone know what it is?

(It feels linear, with an actuation force of maybe about 40g...., and the actuation point is at the bottom..)

Whoa! A scissor switch made of metal... Can you see a leaf spring in there?

I started adding the scissor switch patents:

That one above looks familiar, but there are just so many different scissor switch patents (there's a lot more than the ones I've added — in the past I simply skipped over them).

I'm not sure about the leaf spring but I think it's weird that there is no rubberdome....

Oh wait! I've been looking closer through the patents and this one seems sort of close...
