Hi all,

Do any of you have experience of Signature Plastic's modular display kits?

Specifically I'm interested in the idea of (non-destructively!) putting some incoming caps on the wall for display - if the modules were vertically mounted, would the plungers stay in or fall out?

<Starts to imagine the sheer scale of what you likely have in mind.>

What "resolution" are you going for with this vast wall-panel of caps!?

Ha, that looks like Hi-Tek modular (dovetail) switches with MX mount.

There's always hot glue — worked for all the Alps SKFL switches I got!

(Somehow I don't think Alps in Japan were responsible for that!)

Or double sided Tape on a board, would probably be way cheaper and do the same thing.
Or build a wooden frame with a plexiglass front, with the switches sandwiched in.

Thanks for your input, all :)

The scale would probably be keyboard sized, matrix boards for all the function keys I'll end up with, possibly as much as 122 sized. There would be cheaper ways of panelling the entire wall!

With double sided tape I'd worry about them falling off and the residue. The wood/plexiglass would be nice but then I couldn't "type" on them, haha.

Perhaps the best solution would be a G81 carcass!
