I never have understood a need for having color change abilities all over the keyboard. Backlighting in general? OK, I get that. Color change for status indicators? Totally logical. I just don't get the extra cost of all these multi-element LEDs and the controller to drive them. It's a trick that's going to get old after a couple hours.
Just my humble opinion. I'm not saying I wouldn't buy such a keyboard. I'm only saying that I wouldn't pay
extra for the l33tness.
