Atari Inc. was a company founded in 1972 by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney in Sunnyvale, California. Their products, including games like Pong or the Atari 2600 video console helped define the electronic entertainment industry from the 1970s to the mid-1980s. The company also played a key role in the video game crash of 1983.
