Alps SKCC Grey is a rare switch in the Alps SKCC series.

Description

SKCC Grey is a switch of uncertain characteristics. Examination of photos indicates that it has a shorter keystem, of around 4 mm instead of just over 5 mm. Photos of the two Monroe calculators in which it has been discovered corroborate this, as they depict low-profile keycaps. The keystem itself may also be a bit shorter, as it lacks the small protrusion on the top.

Travel appears to be intentionally reduced by around half a millimetre by lengthening the posts at the bottom of the slider.

Keyboards

  • Sharp X1 series keyboards (used for the smaller silver buttons at the top, while the rest of the keyboard is SKCC Green)

Other equipment

  • Monroe 2125 calculator[1]
  • Monroe 2805 calculator (1979)[2]
