Triumph Adler is a brand for typewriters and computer keyboards, originally a merging of the brand names Triumph and Adler. The company and its brands was purchased by the owner of Royal Typewriter in 1969. The brands Triumph Adler, Royal and TA Royal were sometimes used interchangeably on the same models of typewriters. In 1986, Olivetti bought the company and held on to it until 1994.

Typewriters

Several electronic typewriters from the late '80s and early '90s have Cherry MX or Cherry MY switches, with keycaps in Cherry profile, probably made by Cherry or GMK. The keycaps from so called "Amstrad" switches are not Cherry MX-compatible.
