Today is the first time I have been able to log in and not keep going round in a loop being asked to log in again and again, since ...well when ever I last posted.
But there still seem to be a problem because it will sit there fine, but if I try to post anything as soon as I preview, or submit it sends me back to the login ?
Found that I get about a minute or two that I can send the post else its back to the loop ?
Problems logging in ...and staying in

What browser and what version are you using? Does anyone else has these problems?

If the error is on your side, witch I think of, it is mostly a cookie / cache problem. Does something wipe cookies on your system ? If so this should effect every cookie based login system in the web.

I think I have it sorted.
But TBH I cant say 100% what fixed it, as I have cleared the cache and cookies more times than I can count.
The problem was across quite a few boxes so not down to one browser even though I only really use Firefox/Palemoon (same ish code).
The *nix boxes were just the latest v3 FF stable versions, that said one Slackware box is only at 13.1 and a freeBSD box is an old (v4 IIRC) install with updates, but I even gave an Internet Exploiter v5 and v6 a go on and old 2k box.
All did the same.
All would do the same, let me log in but if I wanted to do anything that needed a login (reply to something) it would just send me to a login screenagain ...and again.
Its done that once just now the first time I did a preview of this post, but twice since previewed fine.
I expect it is/was something my end as no others have seen it.
Also quite a few months back I would get the DeskThority picture/header but under that, mid page just a line saying Forum no longer exists, it was only because I started another box and fired up Palemoon with a load of old tabs and saw it had a correct looking frontpage that I gave the site another go.

Well after quite a few days trying and getting nothing I got to log in first time and post a reply, and even preview the post a few times.
This box had been down and not long back up ...well a quick check says 27 hours.
Lets hope its sorted.
