I wonder what this means for Round 5a.

Hopefully 7bit takes a breather, If we are placing bets I'm saying Round 5a gets delivered late 2016.

There's a possibility I might take that as inspiration - there are two keyboards of interest still available...
I forgot about those, what has he still got? Even I don't know where to look around here!

Had the same thoughts. I've now dumped my R5a order and am waiting for a refund to buy the cheaper SA Retro...

Et tu Scott? You've been around long enough to know exactly what you were in for when you ordered! The price difference is the way 7bit goes about organising these GBs. He brings his prices down as more orders come in, eventually hitting MOQ. The more popular way to do it is, of course, have a low(ish) price first and not promise anything until MOQ is hit. I think he might be missing a trick there.

@XMIT: Oh yeah, there's no contest which one will ship first. Retro's on its way, 5a not so much. We haven't even seen the first rolling deadline yet!

I never said anything about cancelling. Just, I want SA caps this year, is all.

Understandable. There's no chance Round 5a will ship before 2015 runs out. SP's delays must be added to 7bit's delays to gather enough orders. It all takes a while. Just look at page 1 of this thread!

Aye, but the set I was going for (purple and cream) looks like it won't get enough interest to hit MOQ and I'd rather not wait an indeterminate amount of time for something that might never happen. I think I'm just about the only person who ordered it!

I've actually been meaning to get rid of lots of stuff that I don't actively use once I move back to my own place in Ireland. Having keycaps in limbo for years doesn't help that cause because I want to have everything on-hand to pair off and sort out so that I can decide what to get rid of!

I did order the same kit. But needed the money for something else in that moment so I cancelled it. Will order again when I have the money.

You need to PM the bot and set the quantity to 0
eg:
XXXR5/WHATEVER 0
XXXR5/SECOND 0
etc.

If you don't remember them exactly, send a nonsense PM to the bot and it will reply in email with your order (not immediately, a few hours later)

pretty sure you can't cancel round 5 in anyway other than driving to 7bit's house with a case of beer, so clearall should be safe - if your cautious just email the bot with r5a lines qty 0.

I have a spare HONEY/DE set, and I can sell it to you if you want! I ordered two sets, but only need now one set (since I switched to ANSI on almost all boards I have). As soon as I receive my loot I could forward the set.
