All have finally arrived

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spoiler:
I want to try some Krytox GPL 200, but there is a minimum order of 6...
Dear Sir,
We do not have GPL200 in stock. I checked with DuPont and the lead time is 4-6 weeks. Minimum order 6 tubes.
The price for a 2 ounce tube will be ~$38.50 if the price is the same as the other Krytox greases.

So if at least 5 other people want to try some with me I'll be able to order some. 4-6 weeks is probably a gross overestimate to cover their asses, but we would have to be ready to wait if that's how long it takes.

No hard feelings if I'm the only one who wants to try 200.

Bad news for international people. USPS has raised the postage to $12.75! I have had to adjust the price accordingly. There is nothing I can do about it.

(L = local pickup, U = USA, I = International)
L - $43.50 (Cash - No shipping or paypal fees - inlikeflynn)
U - $49.50 ($95 for 2 - Index) - USPS first-class with tracking/delivery confirmation

Just need 4 more people and I'll order some. I like my 205, but I think I would like 200 better as it is less viscous in the spec sheets.

If you're buying it specially, isn't 103 the one to get? Or is that not available?

100-107 are oils and I would NOT recommend them for use in MX switches as they run out of the switches. 200-207 are greases that stay where you put them. Just because some Koreans like 103 doesn't mean it's the best one. I am specifically looking to get some 2 ounce tubes of Krytox 200, and none of the other ones at this point in time.

I'm interested. Can we also buy the 100 stuff for the same quota? In that case I could take two. :)

I'd be interested, too.

My concern also was that the oil would run out of the switch. However grease tends to wipe away from the rubbing faces and stay away whereas oil may creep back onto the bearing faces. Grease may 'squelch' at the ends of the switch travel and it's viscosity may be detectable by finger tips though the MX switches are quite lose. I've used thicker grease instead of oil on tighter tolerance parts and had to take it off as it stopped the parts sliding.

I'll watch with interest for the results of your experiment :)

Alright so that's Me, mintberryminuscrunch, Icarium, and rindorbrot. We just need 2 more people now.

This groupbuy is just for 200 right now. If it is successful you might be able to persuade me to get some others.

The oils won't 'creep' back up onto the sides of the switches. I tried 106 in my sticking cruise control and it ran through the entire steering wheel and came out a seam in the bottom. My hands then distributed it all over the wheel and it has been sticky all year as every hot day a little bit more came out... I will only use the greases now as they have (so far) stayed where I put them. 205 feels a lot better than 100 and 106 as well, and I expect 200 to be even better.

You don't have to watch for the results of this 'experiment', you could be a part of it.

I already did up in the OP. I can just imagine the post office now... "Are there any liquids, perishables, or hazardous materials inside?" - "Uhhh... No..."

Why would there be a paypal dispute if everyone pays as goods? It's when people pay as gift that there are disputes.

2 more days 'till the cutoff on the 7th when I ask for an invoice. After I get the invoice I'll divide the original shipping to me among the orders and add on the shipping to your respective countries before having you all pay.

EDIT: Upon looking at where you're all from it is almost exclusively Germany
