The DSETK0016CE01 version uses ALPS green linear switch.

Thank you both. :D This month has been really cheap in terms of my keyboard budget. An ML Numpad should be good enough for the office and I've always wanted to try a G84 as well. Seems a really good price if it really is "like new".

PS: As you can see the PS2 version which is supposed to feature programming with on-board storage is a lot more expensive:

You can't expect good keyboards to be in France ... I know it, I'm french
There are a few good French keyboards in Quebec. I've got a French Apple IIc that I picked up near Ottawa for $5 CAD.

Nice avatar, by the way.

If they are the same ones, not worth the price. Reed switches are fancy and all, but these aren't super special smooth or anything like that.

I'm more into the US international layout. Shame that most of the good old mech' are not in France => high shipping costs (seen up to $140 for an M from US to France, shipped by UPS only).

The french layout is really not developer friendly and it is even not suited for french needs. For example you can input accentuated capital letters like É, È, À or Ç, but you can do it with US international. Another concern, the ù has a key for itself while it is only use in a SINGLE TWO LETTERS word : Où (means "where" in french)

Thanks a lot. My very first computer was an Amiga 2000, I really miss it and I wish Amiga was still alive.

Think those were rubberdomes with mx mount sliders, but I'm not 100% sure.

guk is right.
I have the same in AZERTY layout.
Rubberdome with Cherry MX compatible keycaps (mine has pad painted caps, on this one they seem to be lasered).
The trackball is a unit with its own circuitry that can be mounted to another keyboard.

On a related note do they still do the tracepoint in the larger ( classic ) case ?

Hmm trackpoint. SSK MOD! that would be amazing !

The case is painted, according to the listing. Shame, it would be nice if Unicomp made those. :)
