I actually ended up not using any oxi booster in this mix because I read on the retr0bright instructions that it may have some adverse reactions with non-pure peroxide solutions.
This is what it contains. If it's safe enough for hair, then it's safe enough for a keyboard (that's not true, just keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't eat through the plastic)
All set, will come back when the sun sets too see how it's gone, then I'll update the post

At least you got lots of UL-light in Australia. In Sweden the season for retrobrigthing is almost over. I have to hurry or wait eight months for the light to come back.

Plenty of UV-light but H2O2 is like $30 for 500mls You could always buy some UV lightbulbs, tlt.
Looking forward to seeing your results, bitemyweewee. I was always nervous about using hair products because of the extra chemicals causing blowouts/bloom effect on other experiments I've seen.

Cooking is done!
Before

It worked brilliantly, no eating on the surface and came out the original colour.
The brand is Hi Lift, 40 vol 200ml 12%. Got it for $8 at the local chemist and only used half of it

So jealous of all that natural UV light you guys have. Well, in this particular context. It'd frazzle me to a crisp!
Perhaps I should finally man up and give it a shot on this little fella:

Lol for some reason, this comment reminded me of the old 'Diary of an Englishman in Western Australia' e-mail that does the rounds now and then (Warning: strong language alert)Muirium wrote: ↑It'd frazzle me to a crisp!

Didn’t notice Kitty (our cat) sneaking into the car before I left for work this morning. By the time I got back to the car after work, Kitty had died and swollen up to the size of a shopping bag and stuck to the upholstery. The car now smells like Whiskettes and cat shit. I’ve learned my lesson though: no more pets in this heat.
