Got an invoice for 5a paid in full, is their a possibility 5a orders would be shipped with round 5 orders?

It may not be totally impossible, but is quite unlikely that Round 5a kits will be received and ready to ship with Round 5. Or if you mean you want Round 5 kits shipped with a Round 5a order, you can just order the HONEYB kit.

Do you know how many key caps in total where ordered?

User avatar
7bit

22 Feb 2015, 21:54

118525 ordered from SP, 106622 sold, 11903 unsold.

This includes a reserve of at least 2 keys per legend, row and color to cover losses.

What if?

Today, Yslen from UK asks:
Yslen wrote:How much of a swimming pool that lot will fill?
A 1 unit key cap is about 18x18x12mm^3 = 3888mm^3

There are differently sized key caps, the largest are the 7 units space bars.

Code: Select all

1.00|90850|90850.00
1.25|8725|10906.25
1.50|8400|12600.00
1.75|2500|4375.00
2.00|3600|7200.00
2.25|1725|3881.25
2.75|1200|3300.00
3.00| 25| 75.00
4.00| 100| 400.00
4.50| 100| 450.00
6.25| 925|5781.25
7.00| 375|2625.00
All key caps together are 142443.75 units, so have about a volume of
3888*142443.75/10^9=0.5538213m^3
:o

Yes, you read correctly:
They are less than 1 m^3

A keyboard to put all keys on, would have 285x500 units, (5.4271m x 9.525m). Given a pool is 50m long and 25m wide, these key caps would not even cover all the floor.
:-(

To be able to fill a pool, you would need all key caps from all rounds until about Round 4500, if each round has about the same amount of 110,000 to 120,000 key caps.

Just curious, do I owe you €0.01, or did I transfer €0.01 too much? In the first case, I can transfer an extra €0.01 ASAP (unless you think that's not worth your time...). In the latter case, I gladly donate it to the cause! 8-)
