ok...............kind of on the same lines i have heard as well, usually a little scratchy? these tactiles blacks are pretty darn nice, i really like them. i have black clicky's coming out of my butt, however this is my first black tactile. kind of feels like my grey tactile, but maybe not as stiff?...

found a chicony 5161 with real vintage mx blue cherry marked on top of switch. just dusty mainly, clean otherwise

so after a little digging around it seems like the type 6 and type 7 (usb) will function on a regualar pc vs the unix, etc. like the old type 5's............albeit many of the function keys to the left, etc. will not work. still trying to decipher though if type 5 and 7 keycaps for the most part can...

since i am here asking.........if a type 7 (or even a 6) will function on a "pc" then are type 5 and type 7 keycaps interchangeable?

bummer though............even though it is a hybrid RD the type 5 is a great looking keyboard IMOP

seeing the type 7's r usb can i assume they will run on a pc?
