Arrows on HHKB are somewhat OK, although cursoring too much gets tiresome.
PgUp/PgDn are bearable.
Home/End make me cringe.

Not that I've any complaints about HHKB build quality. I don't own one, but the one I proxied was solid and impressively light. My HHKB squeaks very loudly when I rest my palm on the lower right corner. There are couple of quibbles about HHKBs, they're not that perfect as one would believ...

According to this topic, you have one: http://deskthority.net/keyboards-f2/frankenboard-m0116-apple-adb-ja-elecom-with-black-alps-t6168.html You also couldn't be sure whether the switches were salmon or orange, but no pictures to let us check. Some misunderstanding? ADB keyboards that I have are: -...

What does the SMK one have for caps lock and power? On mine power is same white SMK as the rest. Caps Lock is also white, although the stem lacks the special notch on one of the short sides. Nice pictures. Visually the controller PCB matches mine, at least what I could remember from it before assembling it back. Mine dates from around the same time, so they could be the same revision. I think the Freescale MCU markings match as well, so you have pretty good chance to restore it with a m...

Mine differs from the wiki pictures as well. Anyway, there is one 5-pin header on the PCB where the cable is soldered wire by wire. Solder side has pin numbers. 1 - thick black wire - SHIELD 2 - yellow wire - PS/2 CLOCK 3 - thin black wire - GND 4 - green wire - VCC 5 - white wire - PS/2 DATA Could ...

PS/2 or "legacy" keyboard options are not present, but next time I might try how the "UEFI / legacy" boot option affects the HHKB. The funny things is, that after OS load and soft reboot (not cold powerup) the HHKB works. And I am almost sure another (older) Thinkpad does not behave like this and HH...

I'm sure I read somewhere that it would be possible to use some sort of sealant coating to prevent or reduce the re-yellowing. I wonder if you reapplied retr0Bright enough times it would eventually eliminate most of the bromine (and hence yellowing) but leave your keyboard case/caps a combustible h...

No, the forum has upload limit of about 1MB. Initially I wanted to simply include it in this thread. And, yes, of course I can reduce the resolution and file size, but as I said before, it needs descreening, which is best done on the original data. I lack tool to do this. Here's "reduced" image that...

I did a scan of the magazine ad, but it is about 3.5MB and way over the upload limit. Any easy way to upload somewhere, or maybe somebody's email to send to? It needs descreening and resizing, and then it can find it's way to the Wiki. EDIT: What is interesting about this keyboard, is that it is for...
