Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards
I got my F77 in July 2020 so it’s been a little over two years; since I’m sharing an office I don’t always use my loudest keyboard but I’ve probably used it about a third of the time. I was expecting to see some degradation or chipping of the paint, but so far at least it’s looking as good as new. ...

Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards
Does anyone happen to know why spacebar wire keeps hitting some of my keys such as X and : on Model F62? I can't seem to figure this out at all. Wire is placed correctly inside of those metal clips as well. This doesn't happen on my IBM M SSK when I swap them. Spacebar is original but I have dyed i...

Re: F62+F77 orders now open! New Kishsaver+Industrial Model F Keyboards
I finally got my hands on F62 keyboard! I didn't join this project directly in the past because it was still too expensive for me to do so. I found a person who was willing to sell this keyboard which was still unopened. It came with first aid kit as a bonus. springyboba.jpg IMG_20220721_220415.jpg ...

Re: [WTS] HHKB Pro 2 (PD-KB400B)
Damn, a modded HHKB2. I had a same kind of setup in the past but without that granular mat and I had different colored keycaps. Is this still for sale? I live in Finland and I'm interested to know about the shipping price as well. Cheers. EDIT. I will cancel my offer. I bought a more recent HHKB re...

Thanks for the info. It seems they're easy to take off with careful wiggling.fohat wrote: ↑The most simple check is dis-connecting and re-connecting all the wires and cables.
Those flat ribbon cables can be troublesome so I would start there.

I found your post in the EU GB thread; you should definitely also make sure you have an active PS/2-USB adapter. Cheap 2-3 USD ones apparently won't do. Yeah. I need to confirm that. According to a local shop comments this should work on Model M keyboards. This makes me to wonder my PS/2 alone didn...

Do you have a full-size Model M keyboard with compatible controller? You could try performing a controller swap; if the SSK works then, it's likely that there's an issue with the original controller. This is my first Model M keyboard and I don't have any spare parts available. Would have been a nic...

A Bolt modded IBM M SSK doesn't seem to work
I bought a bolt modded IBM M SSK keyboard a while ago from a group buy. I can't seem to make this to work at all. I confirmed that this board has been working normally via elecplus before shipment. I've written information down in to the group buy thread and I contacted directly elecplus as well. I...

Got my IBM M SSK yesterday; seems to be in a nice condition. I had to pickup this from local Posti so it wasn't far away to get. There are little dents on the left and right side of the board but that's minor :) I can't seem to get this to work via my PS/2 to USB controller. I need to get an another...

To those who have received theirs: Was the shipment handled by a local organization in your countries or was it handled by Hermes? Nothing has happened to my package during the last 10 days :( I'm starting to wonder if this is a classic case of Posti losing a tracked package for a week or two befor...

If the shipping weight of my Wyse crosses a certain threshold (often 2kg) where the shipping costs skyrocket, is it possible that you send the "filet" only? I think it was wodan who used that term for the PCB + switches (+plate). Ah, right. We're both from the same country and that's pretty true. G...

it's our beloved electronics master elecplus I'm getting this from. I was in talks with elecplus about perhaps shipping some keyboard stuff to me. If that happens, I am willing to bounce your stuff to you from here if you guys arrange to get it to me. This sounds quite a thing and I would be please...

Is it a vintage keyboard, and would it be possible to have it declared on the customs form as a collector's item? Here in Sweden, I think the toll+tax is even worse for "electronics" but the toll rate for "collectible" is 0%, so that I would have to pay only tax. The items I have received declared ...

What are my options? I need a proxy from EU/US.
It's been a while. I've hit an issue I can't really know how to avoid. I'm getting an expensive keyboard from a certain member here and it's being shipped from TX. Finland, the country where I live have pretty strict customs and I have to pay a hell a lot of money for the procedure ie. 12% + 24% = ~...

NTC KB-6851EA (Soarer's Converter with a cheap Teensy clone)
Hey! I had some spare Teensy clones aka. Pro Micros to fiddle with and I decided to make a AT to USB mod with NTC KB-6851EA keyboard. NTC stands for NAN TAN COMPUTER CO. and it seems to be from Taiwan. I like how keys are arranged on the board and it makes the layout even more obscure yet delicious....
