Being a total noob it took three hours to get the silencing rings into my Novatouch (thanks to CM making it a serious pain to get the case open, I wasted an hour on that alone). Was it worth it? The price is high but understandable (and expected). I've been longing to silence my Novatouch since second 1, and these rings obviously work well, so I'm definitely willing to pay. With my recent luck, I'll probably get hit with 25% VAT + customs fee + handling fee, but that's life.

Anything that can silence my annoyingly noisy NovaTouch is welcome, so if this works out, I'm in!

Can't wait! The key up clack noise is slowly driving me nuts. Good thing I only use my NT at work.

Yes. The NovaTouch, at least the prototype, is for some reason louder than regular Topre, so it seems optional o-rings will be included.

Yes, I try to make the recordings as fair as possible. I always put the same mic right on the desk in the same spot behind the keyboard, and record at 50% volume without any edits. Can't promise I'm always typing as fast, though! Maybe I get louder the more practice I have going fast with a board! ...

To me, O-Rings are like training wheels - once you have mastered your skill, you don't need them anymore. I can type without bottoming out on reds and blacks.
