I'm not a fan of hilarity on command. There's too many grandmas clapping hands in 4/4 rhythm if you catch my drift. Boozing's always fun though.

Tarantino is ew.

Right now I'm reading the Eisenhorn trilogy by Dan Abnett which is considered one of the best books from the Warhammer 40.000 universe. It's... not bad. We'll see how it goes.

Dune on audiobook earlier this year. Everyone knows it's cool. The second book hasn't convinced me yet.

It's really weird how much experiences vary with protective coating on peripherals. Some people say the Logitech logo on their mice wears off after 2 weeks, with some it's still in pristine condition after 2 years. It's probably the fault of hand lotion with 200 different E-ingredients in their name...

Give her a mouse with a big ol' hump, like the Logitech MX 518, for a decent palm grip. And more importantly, switch the main mouse button from left to right.

Keyboards will always be with us because touchscreens are worthless for the fast (or serious, or both) typist. You get no proper tactile response and your fingertips don't tell you where one key ends and another begins. They're just a crutch for mobile devices. The problem that you're tapping on a f...

There's only one game that ever made my wrist hurt. It required you to hit a lot of keys fast, and keep doing that for hours. Never had a wrist rest or anything like that, and I never needed one since I stopped playing it. By the way, drawing with a pencil for any length of time is really bad for th...

If 2KRO is already enough for 99% of games, anything past 3KRO is completely unnecessary. At least that's how it is for me. I don't play any "stepping" games though as I think they are the epitome of dumb.
