Would anyone mind writing a quick TLDR on how I can get TMK running on a "Blue Pill" STM32F103C8T6 "STM32 Minimum System Development Board" like this one I just ordered? There's a lot of info in this thread, it's hard for me to understand where to start. Is there a git repo that I can easily clone t...

So just how important is the extra ram of the teensy++ 2.0 when considering changeable function layers? Because I just spent technically more on the teensy++ 2.0 itself than the M0116 it's going to be driving, and I want two separate press, not hold, button layer changes. One for F-keys, and the ot...

What about antennas? (I know nothing about these boards, just a guess.) One time a friend bought a second hand iBook that had the weakest WiFi. It worked, but with very poor signal strength and noticeable performance issues when browsing. I discovered that it was doing this drspite the internal WiF...

Hi Kile, Unfortunately I use a commercial PCB package called EasyPC which I doubt can provide output (other than Gerber or DXF) which can be used with KiCad. I can provide the schematic, but it's simply each switch with one pin to 0V and the other to a CPU input pin... which would need to be remapp...

could it be the trrs? I think it's the IO Expander. I have a thread open at geekhack about it. So, the Ergodox worked perfectly all night last night. For about 5 hours. ...Then I get home from work today, and it's not working. The pc is seeing all the left thumbkeys as being held down. I measured t...

I've just finished building the MX Brown version. Unfortunately I only have enough key caps for two, so I removed them from my original MX Blue unit... :-( I need to finalize the optimum cap arrangement and order a few sets... Tomorrow I'm going to start work on the code to run both hands simultane...

Damn, seems I spoke too soon. Last night it worked for about 3 hours, then started doing the same thing. I ended up desoldering and removing every left thumb switch again, then installed them all back. Then it worked for about 30 minutes, then started doing it again. This is driving me crazy!! Plus ...

Working!!! Took all night, but I ended up desoldering every left thumb switch except one, starting at SW0:7. That wasn't the one that was the problem, I think one of the others may have had a little too much solder on it and shorted to the ground plane on the top. Installed them individually back ag...

Help!! Ergodox Thumb Keys Aren't Working!

Well, yesterday i got my Ergodox, thanks czarek! It certainly looks the business but… Unfortunately, the thumb keys on the left hand side aren't working. :-[ When I first plugged it in and loaded the ergodox-kinesis-mod hex, it kept going to the screen you get when you hit ctrl-alt-del over and over...

Massdrop has ErgoDox PBT DCS Keycaps - Last Day!

https://www.massdrop.com/buy/ergodox-keycap US$57.99 + shipping at the moment, once (if?) they get 75 orders it'll be US$44.99 + shipping. Available for 1 more day. Just a heads up because it can be difficult to find caps for the ergodox because of the nonstandard layout. Also because I want to get...

Hi! Another point is a trackpoint. I have found this on KBC fans and DIY chinese forum: http://habrastorage.org/storage2/b3d/86d/663/b3d86d663a32ad27f5d7e7840f4443f0.jpg My findings so far on this is TSW joysticks from C&K components (worth $5). It doesn't support the force detection, but has a jog...
