I've received the remaining HONEY/MOD175S kits but they don't fit on my keyboard (the pin is not centered on the key). :(
Anybody need HONEY/MOD175S ?

Well done !

Do you have considered to keep the switches/diodes matrix from pcb and only wire the pcb matrix to the teensy pins?

No. For handwiring it's better to have well fitted switch-holes ! Most of the 60% plates are designed to support multiple layouts and it's not adapted to handwired projects.

You'll prefer 6.25U spacebar + 4x1.25U mods or 7U spacebar + 4x1.5U mod ?

Why not an option for HHKB-style split backspace and shift right fn? That wouldn't result in ugly holes and would probably entice many more users. Also, another thought: it seems weird to mix a 7U spacebar and 1.25 mods. 7U spacebars mostly come from older keycaps sets with 1.5U mods, where 1.25U m...

Oh, you actually expect to see the plate when you're done? I would have expected any such extra holes would be covered by the case.
The 17$ case don't cover the plate.

I'm considering to build another 60% custom keyboard with the following layout. But the minimal batch size for the manufacturer is 10. So i'm considering to run a group buy. http://i.imgur.com/0RhFSeJ.png Details : — ordered from http://ortholinearkeyboards.com , — 1.5mm stainless steel, — 7U space ...

Keyboard matrix : good or not ?

I'm currently designing a custom keyboard. Is this wiring correct or the diodes are inversed ? http://i.imgur.com/8ZJ5Os5.png And teensy's pins connected to cols (blue wires) needs to be OUTPUT low(DDR:1, PORT:0) ? And teensy's pins connected to rows (red wires) needs to be INPUT with pull-up(DDR:0,...

No :) i want to keep maximum compatibility with standard keycaps sets (6.25 space, 1.25 modifiers, standard backspace). The only exception is the 1.75 Right Shift.

The final design for my HHPK :

I've added a 1.75 RSHIFT + an extra 1 KEY for ESC (or the FN key if i don't like the SpaceFn layout ).

And it will be a case + plate for handwiring. I've saved money to be ready when matt3o will be !

I have a poker 2 at home and i wonder if it's easier to make a custom plate (with the custom layout) to mount on the Poker 2 case or to make a full plate + case ?
